Condolence & Memory Journal

Dear Renee, Mike, David and relatives of Dot, Im so sorry I just learned of Dot's passing. Dot was a true lady and servant for God. She welcomed my daughter and I to FBChurch with open arms many years ago. She was indeed an angel and mentor for our Sunday School and church family. Always there for anyone who needed anything, she had a smile and hug for everyone. I'll never forget her bringing a fantastic homemade meal to my house after my mother's passing. She will always have a big place in my heart and be remembered as one of the kindest and most sincere ladies I've ever known. She taught me so much about being a Christian. I miss you Dot! With love, Vicki Cecil

Rey, Rick, Renee, Ethel and Family,
Dot was a wonderful mentor to so many ladies at FBC, including me. I was honored to call her a friend and sister in Christ. "Well done my good and faithful servant, Enter into My presence."
Steve and I will be praying for you all as you say goodbye to your mother and sister.

Rey, Rick, and Renee - Dot was gracious lady, fellow antique enthusiast, and true friend. She and Reyburn were never anything but kind to me. What more can you ask? Living just blocks away, I will think fondly of them every time I pass their home on Winston. Best to each of you - David

Dear Family, I was so sorry to learn of Dot's passing. She always had a smile and would always stop to say hello. She and Reymond went to high school with my husband and the reunions were so much fun. We attended First Baptist Church and saw them each Sunday. My prayers and thoughts are with you all at this time. God will give you strength and comfort during these next few days and weeks. I know you will miss her. She is now in the loving arms of our LORD. Sincerely, Shirley Kennedy
