"Ruth was a very kind and gentle speaking lady. I had a lot of nice and memorable times with her family, Ernie, Carolyn and Marilyn. My prayers are with the family."

"A wonderful lady! Always remembering her smiling. Find memories of visits with all of the family. Our grandmother and yours were great friends. Awarded Master Farm Homemaker at the same time. Blessed to have known Ruth and all the family. Much love!!"

"My sincere condolences to the Gough Family. Grammie was a sweet, warm and welcoming lady. I have fond memories of looking through cookbooks with her, working on crafts with her and admiring all the flowers she had around the farmhouse. What a blessing to have had her for 95 years but she will be missed by so many. With deepest sympathy, Heather Berry Boyce aka the other Heather"

"My deepest sympathy to Gene and the family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I remember Ruth so well from Traveler's Rest where we spend our winters. My wife and I first met Ruth and her son Gene and wife Linda there about 10 years ago. Ruth and I would sit outside on sunny days and talk about so many subjects, but her favorite stories were about her son Eugene. She was so proud of him and loved to tell me little stories about him and his time growing up on their farm. She would also rave about Linda and what a good cook she was. She also liked to spend time making a special dish cloth. She would ask my wife and I which color we would like to have. They are a very cherished gift that we use every day. I know she is now in Heaven looking down on all of us with that beautiful smile. May God Bless all of you."
